Calgary officer shot, suspect found dead after traffic stop leads to ‘chaotic’ chase

Suspect carjacked vehicle and was discovered in the Bow River, while officer is expected to make full recovery

Calgary police say one of their officers was shot while conducting a traffic stop near Edworthy Park on Monday. The suspect fled into the park and was later found dead in the Bow River.
