Will FDA advisers recommend a multi-cancer blood test for approval? They'll vote

A blood test designed to spot signs of multiple cancers in apparently healthy people faces its first major regulatory hurdle Wednesday as advisers to the U.S. government review how well it works.

The company Grail says its Galleri blood test can detect up to 50 forms of cancer. An independent panel of experts will decide if the test should be recommended for FDA approval.
