Eleven passengers from Germany, Italy and Spain, plus two crew, were on board when their tourist plane crashed near the world-famous Nazca Lines.

Two pilots among killed in small tourist plane crash in Peru

Those killed included 11 passengers and two pilots flying over the famous archeological site, recognised by UNESCO.

The small plane was flying over the Nazca Lines ​archaeological site when it crashed, according to local reports.

Nazca's government said the plane departed from the nearby city of Ica and was operated by Peruvian company Aerodiana
