A woman is set to be executed in Tennessee today for the first time in 200 years.

Pike, 50, who was sentenced to death at the age of 20 for the 1995 murder of her classmate Colleen Slemmer, will receive the lethal injection on Wednesday morning.

One of the youngest women sent to death row is set to be executed in Tennessee. If carried out as scheduled Wednesday, it would be Tennessee's first execution of a woman in 200 years.
