Tasmania crash: WA man stabs partner before colliding with car, killing himself and beloved nurse Elaine Gee

The car crash death of mother-of-two Elaine Gee and the stabbing of another woman will send "ripples" through the Tasmanian community, a family violence support service says.

A Perth man on holiday in Tasmania stabbed his partner before fleeing the scene and causing a fiery head-on crash that claimed both his life and that of a local nurse who was driving home from work on Friday.
