‘Ready to face insults’: Tamil Nadu CM Vijay amid face-off with Udhayanidhi over Cauvery dispute

CM Vijay said he was "prepared to bear insults" if it meant opening talks on the Cauvery issue in the interest of the people of Tamil Nadu.

The regime of the TVK in the past three months had been a big disappointment as it had not found answers to many issues like the Mekedatu dam controversy, farmers’ loan waiver, non-release of water for undertaking Kuruvai cultivation in the Cauvery basin.
