A luxury holiday turned into a nightmare when a couple are believed to have become trapped by a spa’s powerful suction — with one dying in a desperate attempt to save the other.

The hot-tub is part of a 'ground floor oasis' found at the Spanish villa rented by London-based quantity surveyor Thomasina Tobin, a 51-year-old mother of two who died alongside husband Patrick, 48.
