Some McGill law students are calling on the university to allow a convicted murderer on day parole to return to his studies amid a growing campus controversy.

Some students and alumni in McGill University's law faculty have signed a petition calling for the school to allow Jeffrey George Ewert, a convicted murderer on day parole, to return to campus.
