More than 10 million people face hosepipe ban until end of the year, water supplier admits

Thames Water is one of many firms around the country to have a hosepipe ban in force, as more than 27m people face restrictions on water use

Thames Water enforced the restrictions for all 10.1 million people it supplies last month, when most of England and Wales was declared in drought due to a record-breaking summer of heatwaves.
