The Metropolitan Police arrested two people on suspicion of assisting Iran’s intelligence services

Police say the arrests are not connected to incidents linked to Jewish and Iranian communities in London earlier this year.

The arrests on Wednesday were made following two searches that were carried out at addresses in north and north-west London on June 24, the Metropolitan Police said.
