Dog owner held on suspicion of murder is questioned after man, 55, dies from 'being bitten by German Shepherd on footpath'

Lee Ellis, 55, is charged in connection with the incident which happened in Wakefield on Saturday.

Detectives have now spoken to two people who came to the victim's assistance after he was injured by the dog in an altercation near an old train line footpath in Wakefield, Yorkshire.
