India aims to establish space station by 2035, first Bharatiya Antariksha Station module approved: ISRO chief

India plans to establish its own space station, the Bharatiya Antariksha Station, by 2035, ISRO chief V Narayanan said. He added that the first module has already been approved, while the Gaganyaan mission is also in the pipeline.

Narayanan highlighted India's growing capabilities in space technology and said the country is now using space-based applications across more than 50 areas.
