Ahead of the expansion draft, Marina Mabrey was left unprotected by the Connecticut Sun. Now, less than four months later, she’s tying league records and earned her first all-star nod with the Toronto Tempo. Sarah Maat has the story.

Toronto Tempo star Marina Mabrey will compete in her first all-star game on Saturday in Chicago, where the defence may not be quite as intense as her driveway battles with her siblings growing up. She’ll also participate in the three-point shooting contest on Friday.
