Delhi records more than 1,400 H1N1 cases this year as doctors warn people to watch for persistent or worsening symptoms

Delhi has recorded 1,777 H1N1 cases this year, including 114 in a single day, as flu infections rise in several states. The Health Ministry has listed key symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, headache and body aches, urging people not to ignore persistent symptoms.

Delhi recorded 114 new H1N1 infections on August 20 alone, taking the cumulative H1N1 tally to 1,777. Overall, the city has recorded 2,602 influenza cases this year, including 2,392 Influenza-A infections. H1N1 accounts for the largest share of these cases.
