FSIN launches legal action over Ottawa’s $12.4M audit claim

The organization that represents 74 First Nations in Saskatchewan says it will fight Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) in court over an audit of its spending, which says the organization must repay more than $12.3 million.

The FSIN says it rejects Indigenous Services Canada’s final forensic audit decision and has launched legal action over $12.4 million in disputed spending.
