Former captains renew appeal to Pakistan PM over Imran Khan's health

Former greats from the global cricket community have appealed to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to provide medical care to the nation’s ex-captain-turned-politician Imran Khan, who is in jail for the past three years for corruption and misuse of power.

Former cricket captains - including Sir Alastair Cook and Mike Atherton - have urged Pakistan to ensure jailed former prime minister Imran Khan receives "humane treatment and proper medical care".
