Cairngorms wildfire: Police declare major incident as nearby homes evacuated

A major incident has been declared by Police Scotland as firefighters continue to battle a wildfire in the Cairngorms National Park.

All residents in the village of Nethy Bridge have been evacuated over the threat the wildfire spreading.

It comes amid warnings that changing weather conditions have contributed to the increasingly unpredictable behaviour of the blaze
