Bomb threat in Halifax prompts police to evacuate several downtown streets

Halifax Regional Police say a man had allegedly made threats and officers took him into custody near the Canada Games Centre

A large area around the Purdy's Wharf towers in downtown Halifax was evacuated for about five hours on Monday after a suspicious vehicle was found in the parkade.
