Bali ferry catches fire in rough seas off Lombok

One person has died after a ferry caught fire in waters between Bali and Lombok, with Australians believed to be among the survivors.

Authorities said they had visually confirmed that no passengers remained on the burning ferry, but were still confirming the total number.

Emergency crews are working to rescue passengers from the vessel that caught fire on Wednesday morning.
