Apple’s CEO History: Who led the company before Steve Jobs and Tim Cook?

Tim Cook, once Steve Jobs’ operations man who made Apple’s ‘trains run on time’, turned India from a market of promise into a key centre for sales and production. His successor must now take that two-sided bet deeper.

Apple shares, which traded at about $13 when Tim Cook assumed the top job, have risen 2,359.2 per cent to $319.70 at the latest close.

Apple have had a rotating cast of chief executives since its founding in 1976, long before Tim Cook took the reins in 2011, and even before Steve Jobs became the face of the brand.
